In this section, we take a look at the applications of drones in vertical markets. Such as Precision Agriculture, where drone aerial imaging becomes a valuable tool in the hands of agronomists who obtain valuable data on the condition of crops in order to take measurements to optimize its yield, while a whole category of drones has been developed, which spray, water and carry out fertilizing and sowing operations.
\nIn logistics, aerial shots combined with artificial intelligence software help efficiently in load distribution, counting and traffic control. In transport, where the distribution of microparcels has entered dynamically as one of the strongest playing cards of the SMIEA, while the approval of funding for a drone company, from the Phaistos Fund, as well as the interest of the Ministry of Digital Governance, is already pointing the way.
\nAt the same time, we will examine the challenges that are popping up and are expected to multiply in the near future. What are the new markets? What are the new technologies? What trends are there and what will the future applications be? What are Drones as a Service and how can this model work? And, finally, what are the challenges and how can they be turned into opportunities?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

There has been a lot of talk lately about the inclusion of drones in the country’s defense planning, as well as the participation of the national defense industry in manufacturing, maintenance and certification programs.
\nIt is clear that this is a promising branch of technology production and of course a springboard for future civilian applications, given that, in established practice, technologies and applications are often tested in the field of defense and then transferred to “commercial” models.
